Question

Anyone know if porting a head for JRSC will be beneficial? Planning on pruchasing a B18C swap for my hatch and while it's out I was thinking of having it taken apart and have the head ported. And then I plan on having the JRSC attached to then install in the car.

Is it worth the money? and will I see any significant gains?

    Angry

Little to no gain when using a JRSC. SportCompact Car did a project years ago where they completely EXTRUDE honed and ported the entire head and JRSC manifold... the result: 1 wheel HP... and this could have been dyno error.

Save your money for another mod.

what about improving the valve train? I.e. so you can rev higher. My charger makes max hp almost at redline

I agree with JRcivic! A waste of time and money. You can make more of a difference tuning your current cams with cam gears.

Think of it this way; Your engine isn't breathing on it's own anymore, it's on a respirator... A supercharged one!

The exhaust side needs more attention than the intake side, because the supercharger is already forcing the air in. Any help you can provide to get all the supercharged gases through the long stock exhaust pipe will help.
